Project Women in Social Exclusion

The concept "violence against women" is understood as any act of violence, that has or may have, as a result, harm or physical, sexual and/or psychological suffering for women, as well as the threats of such acts, the coercion, or the arbitrary deprivation of liberty.

Likewise, the situation of women in the labor market is the reflection of a structural inequality, which survives in other areas of society, and whose most severe manifestation is the violence against women, and which embraces multiple manifestations, from harassment at work or the domestic violence to the trafficking in human beings and prostitution.

In this area, ADAMA directs its intervention to the decrease of the levels of anxiety and stress and the recovery of self-esteem through group sessions that enhance creative expression and the conscious reflection.
