Social insertion program of HOMELESS PEOPLE

Homeless people, are not only those who don't have food or a roof to shelter, but also people who have lost their hope and confidence in themselves and in other persons, and they need from the human relationship,  both or more as to eat daily as well as a place for washing and sleep.

"The House is the people" focuses on the need for the recovery of the integral, physical and emotional health of the person. The program complements all the work of the centers to care for homeless people, with new tools to aid from volunteers, who pretend to connect with the users from the emotional field.

The aim of this program consists of improving the quality of life, and to facilitate the reintegration of homeless persons, restoring their lost confidence in society, thus achieving a reduction in the cases of recidivism.

In ADAMA, we work together with other entities of the so called Third Sector and social action, to which we supplement with therapeutic projects based on natural health techniques (GROUP such as: Music Therapy, Self-help Groups, Humor Therapy, Gestalt technique, Dance Therapy and Bio-dance and Aromatherapy; OR INDIVIDUAL such as: Floral Bach Therapy, Massages, Coaching, Reiki, Shiatsu or Acupuncture).

These therapies go beyond the current health care services, focusing on the most emotional part, motivational capacity and self-knowledge of the person, creating a state of balance and well being.

THE INDIVIDUAL ACTIONS have as an objective the emotional and personal development of our users; these are necessary to achieve a state of balance, motivation, and welfare; while THE ACTION GROUP works interpersonal relations.

Both of these elements allow our users have the necessary tools to decide for themselves where to go to, contextualize their environment, and thus fight against exclusion.
