Project childhood

 Today, in Spain, nearly one of every ten boys and girls experience a condition of persistent poverty and deprivation.

 

One of every four children (24 per cent) lives in families whose incomes are below 60% of the median income, a parameter set as a level of "risk of poverty", [report CDN (National Steering Committee) platform, 2010].

 

Our proposal to collaborate at local level and intervene in the problems of Child Poverty is focused on providing individualized attention to children (users of specialized runaway shelters) from a relational perspective, and human contact, thus satisfying their basic emotional needs, and the acquisition of a psychophysical balance needed for a healthy development.

 

• Active Projects: CRAE María Reina and Center “Compartir”.
• Technical: Roll up with life (workshop composed of educational techniques of relaxation, laughter therapy, etc) and Bach flower remedies.

• Number of Active Volunteers: 7
• Hours of Therapy: Plans are under way for the completion of 744 hours in the year 2012
