Project Prisons

 

 

Many times social marginalization, addictions and poverty inevitably leads to crime. Currently, prison is a synonymous of isolation, because most of the new prisons are built outside the urban areas, poorly communicated, and with difficult conditions of access for visits.

 

Thus, the negative effects of the staying in prison are more than contrasting. Without going any further, the law governing prisons recognizes in its preamble that "prisons are a necessary evil". Few laws are known with such a starter so resounding. And, in spite of this, the Spanish penitentiary population does not stop growing.

 

From ADAMA, we implement individual and group techniques, whose objective is the human contact and the juridical positivisation of life experiences in prisons.

 

• Active Projects: Penitentiary Center Can Brians 2, specifically in the DAE (Department of Specialized Care).
• Techniques: Massage, Bach flowers, supplemented with a Group workshop of Identity called "motivate with life”.
• Number of Active Volunteers: 6
• Hours of Therapy: 852 hours will be made in 2012.
